TOS (personal commissions)

Commissioning Process
  • Any commission requests must be sent via the request form at (coming soon), providing as much information as possible about the commission you want to place.
  • As the client, you are responsible for your references. Only visiual references are accepted.
  • Your order will be put on my waiting list. Due the absence of any contract until sending the payment I can decide when to start your commission. 
  • I will prepare a sketch (or colored thumbnail) that I will mail to you. If you don't approve it, I will deliver a maximum of 2 more sketches.
  • Payment is due after the approval of the sketch. 
  • Your paypal adress is required to send an invoice for the payment. 
  • Once the payment has been sent, your order will be on my working list. Read more about refunds and the time-frame below. 
  • For commissions above 100€ you will receive a progress shot of your commission at flat color stage for approval (read in References and Alterations)
  • You will receive the full resolution file of your commission and a watermarked, smaller version for personal, non-commercial display.

Payment
  • Paypal only, € Euro
  • Payment must be made once the sketch or thumbnail is done and is required for the following progress of the commissioned work. 
  • For commissoins for more than 100€ a 50/50 splitted payment plan can be discussed for an additional fee of 10% (paid with first rate).  You will not receive any unwatermarked or full size image until payment is completed.
  • For commissoins for more than 300€ a 30/30/40 splitted payment plan can be discussed for an additional fee of 15% (paid with first rate).  You will not receive any unwatermarked or full size image until payment is completed.
  • By paying you agree to my TOS by contract. 


References And Alterations
  • You, as the client, are resposible for all reference material. Provide accurate reference sheets or other visual references. I, as the artist, will place importance on drawing your character as correct as possible, but this obviously depends on the quality of material you deliver. 
  • After approving the provided idea and confirming by sending the payment there is no chance for any major alteration. 
  • For all kinds of commissioned work you, the client, have the right to request minor edits at final stages like adding accessiory I missed on the references. This does not include any alteration or adding of details that where not visible on the references you provided.
  • Not all kinds of changes are possible in traditional media!
  • For commissions above 100€ you will get a progress shot of your commission at flat color stage for approval. Minor pose, expression or color chances can be requested once in agreement with me, the artist.


Refunds And Time-Frame
  • Once the payment has been made, no refund can be made except of the following cases: 
  • If I, the artist, am unable to complete the commission due to personal reasons, a refund will be discussed.
  • If it happens that I, the artist, am not able to deliver your commission within 2 months (4 months for full illustrations) you, the Client, can request a refund.
  • You, the client, have the opportunity to pay 25% of the price of your commission to be on my 'fast lane' which guarantees the delivery of your commission within one month. You can't add fast delivery to your commission once you have sent any payment. In case i fail to deliver your commission within this month, you will be given back the payment for the 'fast lane'. You can also request a refund that will then be discussed individually.

Art and Artistic Rights
  • I, the artist, reserve all artistic rights to commissioned work.
  • I, the artist,  may use the artwork in online or physical galleries, portfolios, printed material, any form of publication or distribution. Commissioners will always be named.
  • Unless otherwise declared I, the artist, may sell duplicats, prints and other merchandise of the commissioned artwork.
  • You, as the commissioner, may only use (the watermarked) commissioned work for personal display if there is any clear credit to me, the artist. (i.e. online icons, online signatures, layouts, wallpapers, social sites, ect.). 
  •  You, as the commissioner, are not allowed to use my artwork for commercial use, in any form of promotion or for any profit.  

Disclaimer
  • I reserve the right to turn down any request or refund at any time if I feel I am unable to complete the request.
  • I reserve the right to update or clarify any of these conditions at any time without notification.
